By “rich” I mean full-bodied but at the same time defined, pleasant to listen to for both those who are playing – because they can easily recognize their own style in the loudspeakers’ outcome – and for the external listeners – who can clearly perceive the essence of what I want to express with my fingers. After having trained at the “F. Venezze Conservatory” in Rovigo – graduating in classical double bass with Maestro Ubaldo Fioravanti and achieving the degree in Jazz and Afro-American Music at the jazz department directed by Maestro Marco Tamburini – he perfected himself by studying with Larry Grenadier. He embarked on a fruitful and prolific career as a session musician, collaborating with numerous artists and participating in numerous television programs for the national broadcaster RAI.
